A seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the dynamic realm of Research, Development, Monitoring, and Evaluation. Nana served as the Activity and Evaluation Manager for the USAID/West Africa Analytical Support Services and Evaluation for Sustainable Systems (ASSESS) project, overseeing critical initiatives and supervising communication and event planning units. In his previous role as an Activity Manager-Evaluation Specialist on the same project, he provided both technical and administrative oversight, ensuring research, evaluation, and knowledge management activities met USAID’s quality standards.
At TechnoServe, Nana’s impact was significant as he directed monitoring and evaluation efforts for the DFID-funded Enhancing Growth in New Enterprises (ENGINE) program. His meticulous approach to data collection, reporting, and program development contributed to its success. Nana’s expertise extended to the GIZ-funded Competitive African Rice Initiative (CARI) and the African Youth Agripreneurship Programme (AYAP). Nana’s proficiency in budgeting and program development was showcased during his tenure as a Budget Expert on the African Parliamentary Strengthening Program (APSP). His role involved designing capacity-building programs for parliamentary members and staff across Anglophone APSP countries, promoting efficient fiscal governance.
As a Research Officer at the Sustainable Tree Crop Program of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (STCP/IITA), Nana’s focus on econometric modeling led to insights into enhancing tree crop productivity while preserving forest resources.
